What you should be eating for Breakfast

Congee is an ancient Chinese Medicinal food that promotes digestion, heals the GI system, it's super easy to make, many options for varying the recipe, and a perfect way to start everyday for low cost and little time commitment! 

I'm sure you've all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day...now you can have the perfect breakfast ready when you wake up. It's ready when you are. Congee is the perfect meal to make it an amazing day and get everyday started with honoring what your body needs!

I like to add pecans or almonds for protein( soaked overnight in water then strained before putting in my Congee) and/ or a Raw protein powder,  a little unsweetened coconut milk,  pure maple syrup( organic of course), and some ground golden flax seed (  my favorite choice for fiber). Or if you like eggs...prepared scrambled,  poached...however you like your eggs, a little turkey or veggie bacon and top your Congee recipe with that!
